Tide Power customized the FB910-C gensets to meet these rigorous demands. Each unit delivers 728kW / 910kVA, powered by a CCEC Cummins KTA38-G2A engine and paired with a Leroy-Somer TAL-A49-D alternator—a globally proven combination renowned for reliability in emergency standby applications. The DSE7320 Deep Sea controller, working in concert with an ABB circuit breaker, provides precision monitoring and comprehensive protection. The 400V output integrates seamlessly with the hospital’s existing distribution architecture, ensuring uninterrupted power delivery when it matters most.

Silence is Part of the Specification

Hospitals are among the most noise-sensitive environments. An unattenuated diesel genset can generate up to 110 dB at close range—enough to disrupt clinical work and compromise patient recovery.

Recognizing this, the customer chose to integrate the units into custom-fabricated ultra-quiet enclosures. Tide Power delivered FB910-C open-type units specifically configured for this purpose—precision-assembled core components with standardized interfaces, allowing the customer full flexibility to add acoustic insulation and structural modifications on-site. This approach preserves full electrical performance while granting the customer complete control over the final acoustic solution.
